Janie Cureton Taylor Janie Cureton "Nana" Taylor, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Harold "Shorty" Renay Taylor entered into eternal rest Monday, November 18, 2013. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

She was born February 25, 1930, in Chickamauga, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Allen Cureton and Sarah Owensby Cureton. She was a member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Joy Howard (John) and Wanda Ray both of Charleston, SC; four sons, Ralph Taylor (Jo) of Philomath, OR, Kenneth D. Taylor (Jo Ann) of Charleston, SC, Scott R. Taylor (Terri) of Johns Island, SC, Allen W. Taylor (April) of Charleston, SC; sister, Joyce Daponte (Wally) of Charleston, SC; fifteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
