Janie "Mama" Chinners Beach of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Clinton Gary Beach, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 4, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Janie was born June 6 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Thomas L. Chinners and Ellen McDonald Chinners. She was of the Southern Methodist faith and taught Sunday School at St. James Methodist Church in years past. She was a former Eastern Star member and enjoyed working in the yard, golfing and crabbing.

She is survived by her daughter, Elvenia Jane (Donald ) Edwards; three grandchildren, Lee (Darla) Edwards of Charleston, Ellen (Mike) Babilon of Charleston, Nancy (Bart) Carson of Hanahan; eight great grandchildren, Frank, Amanda, Collin, Tyler, Brittany, Jane Elizabeth, Barton and Spencer and one great-great grandson, Brent. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Jessie.
