Janice "Jan" Marie Wilson Hankins

Janice "Jan" Marie Hankins, 67, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at  Holmes Avenue Baptist Church, 4602 Durant Avenue at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Janice was born November 4, 1956 in Arizona, raised in Hanahan, SC, daughter of the late Warren Wilson and Dorothy French. Janice was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother with a passion for music, movies, and cats. She enjoyed oldies music and dedicated a lot of her time to helping stray cats. She loved watching Nascar, wrestling, college football, and movies. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by daughter, Tarrah Norris (John); sister-in-law, Terri Bowey (David); brother-in-law, Daniel Hankins Sr. (Suzie); two grandchildren, Gregory Bailey, and Hope Norris.

She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Craig Hankins; siblings, David Wilson, Carol Zetrourer.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Prov 3:5-6)
