Janet Powell Moore

Janet Powell Moore, 75, of Charleston, SC, wife of the late William O. Moore entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 7, 2014. A Memorial service to celebrate the Life of Janet will be Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 2:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Burial Services for Janet and William Moore will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Janet was born March 16, 1938 in Blairsville, Georgia, daughter of the late Louis Bunyan Powell and Ora Elizabeth Dyer Powell. Janet was a retired Cosmetologist.

She is survived by her son, Louis "Danny" Daniel Moore; three daughters Donna Mason (Danny), Diana Rollins (Ron) and Dixie Dove (Stacey); brother Louis Powell; two sisters Joan Powell and Sadie Gabler, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is Preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years William "Bill" O. Moore and grandson Dustin William Moore.
