Jane McLeod Siegling

Jane McLeod Siegling, 68, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Henry I. Siegling entered into eternal rest Friday, July 10, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in St. John's Lutheran Church (5 Clifford Street) at 11:00 a.m. Interment, churchyard. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jane was born September 11, 1946 in Sumter, SC, a daughter of the late Edward Byrd McLeod and Jane Gresham McLeod. She was a graduate of Summerville High School. Jane graduated with an Associate's Degree from Newberry College and was the Freshman Rat Queen in 1964. She retired from Wells Fargo in Business Banking and was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. Jane was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Henry I. Siegling of Mount Pleasant, SC; her daughters, Angela S. Dalton (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Elizabeth Siegling Goeden (Kerry) of Sullivan's Island, SC; her son, Henry I. Siegling, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her granddaughter, McLeod Siegling Dalton; and her sister, Mary Ellen Towles of Arden, NC.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Edward Byrd McLeod, Jr., Orrin Lassiter McLeod, and William Rogers McLeod.
