Jane Aures Mattingly, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of John William Mattingly Jr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Jane was born December 21, 1948 in Florence, South Carolina, daughter of the late Raymond Aures and Beatrice Smith Aures. Jane loved reading, working in the garden, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 50 years, Jane is survived by her children, John Aures Mattingly (Melissa) of Charleston, SC and Jane Mattingly James (Paul) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Rae Aures Rogers (Frank) of Florence, SC; as well as her dogs and cats, Buddy, Lola, Patches, and Nala.

Memorial donations can be made in Jane's memory to Charleston Animal Society.
