Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of March 20, 2012, Jane Page Prevatt Dawsey, widow of Marion B. King of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service in Magnolia Cemetery Friday, March 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Born on July 1, 1933 in Lumberton, NC, Jane was the daughter of Ellis Asbury Prevatt and Janie Alma McDaniel Prevatt. She was a graduate of Duke University and received her Master's from Central Michigan University. Jane retired after 35 years as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor with the Medical University of South Carolina. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston and Pythian Sisters.

Surviving are her two daughters, Page Dawsey Mann of Charleston and Sarah Chestnut Dawsey of Bonneau, SC; and three grandchildren, Stephen Quinn Mann, Jacob Jordan Killian, and Elizabeth Claire Killian.
