Jane Marie Cox, 74, of Goose Creek, SC, died Saturday, October 14, 2017. Her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue at 10:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow at Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd.

Jane was born January 7, 1943 in Foxboro, MA, daughter of the late Martin J. Heffernan and the late Evelyn A. Roy Heffernan. She was originally of Foxboro, MA and has lived in Charleston since 1977. Jane was a registered nurse and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Red Hat Society and H20 Seniors.

She is survived by her son, Kevin J. Cox (Terra) of Vienna, WV; grandchildren: Gabrielle, Gemma and Grace; two brothers, Sean Heffernan of MN, Martin Heffernan (Sue) of Foxboro, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddie Lee Cox in 2002 and sister, Diane Heffernan in 2015.
