James William Reeves, 84, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Charlotte All Reeves, died Sunday, July 9, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

James was born July 13, 1932 in Branchville, South Carolina, son of the late Jimmie R. and the late Marion Reeves. He was retired from Charleston Naval Shipyard.

In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by three daughters: Teresa Kizer (Harvey), Charlene Williams (Robbie), and Lisa Turner (Roy); four grandchildren: James (Chelsea), Meagan, William, and Madelyn; and his sister, Euthene Thompson (Tommie).

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Stephens.
