James Harris Wilcox, a beloved son, brother, father, fiancé, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2026.

James will be lovingly remembered by his fiancé, Marina Borisov; his daughters, Alexis Renee Wilcox and Savannah Grace Wilcox; his parents, LTC John David Wilcox Jr. and Karen DuBois Wilcox; and his brothers, John David Wilcox III, Ashton (Felecia) DuBois Wilcox, and Logan Austin Wilcox.

James was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Caswell Wilcox, whom he now joins in eternal rest, as well as his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John (Genevee) D. Wilcox Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Harris (Jan) Alton DuBois.

He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who loved him and will forever carry their own memories of James.

James’s passing has left an emptiness that can never truly be filled. His family will miss his presence, his voice, his personality, and the everyday moments that once seemed ordinary but will now mean so much more.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
