James Benjamin Tyler

James Benjamin Tyler, 83, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Janice Yvonne Clayton Tyler, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 20, 2022. His memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 pm.
James was born December 15, 1938 in Easton, Maryland, son of the late Edward Dewey Tyler and Carrie Allison Cummings Tyler. He was a life long member of the Hammerton Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, James is survived by his sons, James Tyler, II (Ashlee) of Satellite Beach, FL, and Jeffery P. Tyler (Sabrina) of Brevard, NC; daughters, Toree Buford (Richard) of Charleston, and Holly Hunt (Stephen) of Charleston; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in James' honor to Hospice of Charleston, 4975 LaCross Road, Suite 200 North Charleston, SC 29406.
