James Lewis Taylor Sr., 61, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 10, 2021. His graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Tuesday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Casual dress, please.

James was born July 2, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Conrad E Vogt Jr. and the late Patricia Ann Blume Taylor Vogt Jr. He loved boating, his cats, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, James Lewis Taylor Jr., Jeremy Evan Taylor, and Jason Michael Taylor, all of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
