James Arthur Sieber

March 23, 1944 — August 29, 2014

James Arthur Sieber, Sr., 70, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, husband of Carol Ann Keller Sieber, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 29, 2014. His Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 10:30 am. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

James was born March 23, 1944 in Potlatch, Idaho, son of the late Elmer Sieber and Ruthe Ann Hodge Sieber. He served during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Navy and was a retired cable splicer with Bell South.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol Ann Sieber of Moncks Corner, SC; son, James Arthur Sieber Jr. of Aurora, CO; daughter, Amanda Brooke Thomas (Doug) of Ravenel, SC; three brothers, Tom Sieber and Larry Sieber (Claire) both of Summerville, SC, Fred Sieber of Hendersonville, NC; a sister, Lillian Shealy of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Tradd Thomas and Zach Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
