James Howard Scott

James Howard Scott, 66, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Linda Sorensen Scott entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 25, 2018.The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A gathering of friends service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Jim was born on October 28, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee. He received an undergraduate and master's degree from North Carolina State University and a law degree from the University of Tennessee. He was a Federal Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration. Jim enjoyed fishing, running, cooking, and NC State football.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of Charleston, SC; daughter Kelly and her husband Nathan of Jackson, MS; two sons; Chad and his wife Alisen of Atlanta, GA, Brent and his wife Christina of Washington, DC; three grandchildren; Elena, Madeleine, and Theodore.
