James Henry Schwacke, 61, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 22, 2016. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 27, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
James was born February 18, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Elizabeth Kahrs Schwacke and the late Augustas Herman Schwacke. He was a land surveyor with Seaman and Whiteside.
He is survived by his wife Debra Ann Schwacke of Charleston, SC; three daughters, Debra Machelle Babcock (Dennis) of North Charleston,SC, Jamie S. McIntosh (Michael) of Summerville, SC, and Rachel Donelson (Daniel) of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren, Brandon Babcock, Bryson M. McIntosh, Frankie Velez, Jimmy Velez, Caleb Donelson, Caitlyn Donelson, Jackson McIntosh; mother, Elizabeth Kahrs Schwacke of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Buddy H. Schwacke, III., Richard C. Schwacke, and Edward W. Schwacke.
Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics South Carolina, 109 Oak Park Drive, Irmo, SC 29063 and/or Charleston Miracle League, PO Box 22072 , Charleston, SC 29413.
