CMSgt. James Anthony Saukas, USAF (Ret.), 85, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Beverly Yvonne Saukas died Saturday, December 24, 2016. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
James was born September 7, 1931 in Plattsburgh, New York, son of the late John Saukas and the late Catherine Frechette Saukas. He was dedicated to his country and family and will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Beverly; his son, Dale Saukas of Hanahan; two daughters, Terry Saukas and Barbara Arnold, both of Goose Creek; two brothers, Donald Saukas of New York and Richard Saukas of New Jersey; granddaughter, Taylor Arnold; aunt, Mildred DeCelle of New York.
Memorials may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
