James Albert Orr, 52, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 20, 2015. A memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
James was born August 6, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, son of the late George J. Orr and Florabell Staley Orr. He was an Apartment Maintenance Repair Specialist.
He is survived by his companion, Lisa Pitts of No. Charleston, SC; two daughters, Bridgett Kopchak of KY, and Jamie McCreedy of England; two sisters, Mary Poole of Charleston, SC and Catherine Ballmer of Michigan; six brothers, Ronald Orr, Larry Orr, Daniel Orr, Stephen Orr, Jerry Orr, Terry Orr all of Michigan; three grandchildren; three nephews, Shane Murray, Aric Waldrep, and Justin Falke, and numerous additional family.
