James Howard Mixson

James Howard Mixson, 83, of Meggett, South Carolina, husband of Louise Bradley Mixson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

James was born July 12, 1940 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late James R. Mixson and Texie Lane Mixson. James graduated from James Island High School and served in the United States Coast Guard. He was the owner of Mixson Heating & Air Conditioning and Marine Services as well as Island Bait Sales.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his son, Greg Mixson (Jenny); brother, Wayne Mixson (Janice); and grandchildren, Jamie Mixson, Marlynn Richardson (William), Hunter Mixson (Alexis), and Katelyn Mixson.Great grandchildren Clayton and Holden Richardson In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Brad and sister, Robin
