Jamie was born January 24, 1972, in Van Nuys, California, son of Jackie Joe Lee. He worked in logistics for the transportation industry but will be remembered most for the way he loved his family and his dedication to Coaching. Of all the accomplishments in his life, the thing he will be remembered for the most, his legacy, is his love of basketball and what he brought to the lives of everyone he coached. He pushed each one to love life, follow their dreams and live up to their potential. He coached many but the most joy he found was in coaching his daughter. He is gone too soon and will be greatly missed by his friends and loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jennifer, and daughter, Sophia Grace Lee, both of Charleston, SC; father, Jack Lee; Uncle, Wayne Billings; father-in-law, Steve Agan (Janell) of Charleston, SC; and sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Hill Shaw; one nephew (Rhys Shaw) and nieces (Cate and Emme Shaw) He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Lee, grandmother, Mary Billings and sister Jacqueline Lee.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org 269 Calhoun St. Charleston, SC 29401.
