James Timothy McNeal, 31, of Charleston, SC, husband of Bonnie Caraviello McNeal, died Saturday, August 15, 2015. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
James was born January 13, 1984 in Charleston, SC, son of the late James Earlrick McNeal and Deborah Powell McNeal. He was a process monitor for Boeing and a member of Cathedral of Praise. James loved music and rapped with Beat House Productions, did radio interviews with Do Work Radio, loved to fish, play baseball with Elijah, dance with Alyssa and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his mother and wife, both of Charleston; his son, Elijah James McNeal and daughter, Alyssa Ann McNeal, both of Charleston; brother, Richard McNeal (Kriket) of Ladson, SC; paternal grandmother, Joyce McNeal of Panama City, FL; maternal grandmothers, Bessie Meadows and Zonda Powell; maternal grandfather, Charlie Powell; and proud uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Lawrence McNeal.
