James Henry Lloyd, Sr.

James Henry Lloyd, Sr., 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Gloria Linda McMillan Lloyd, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022 surrounded by his wife and children. 

James was born March 30, 1938 in Turbeville, South Carolina, son of the late William Curtis Lloyd and Amanda Jane Woodle Lloyd. He was a store manager of Winn Dixie for 45 years, an avid golfer and he loved the Lord. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by many. 

In addition to his wife of 60 years, James is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Bostick (Paul); sons, James H. Lloyd Jr. (Susan) and David J. Lloyd (Shannen); 12 grandchildren he adored, Tiffany Alexander (Bryn), Cristy Demos (Brian), Anna Bostick, Paul L Bostick Jr, Cameron Lloyd, Collin Lloyd, Caroline Lloyd, Shane Steele (Mariah), Chance Steele, Kimberly Mueller, David J Lloyd Jr., and Andrew Lloyd; and 4 great-grandchildren, Blakely, Evy, Reagan and Vivian.   

His Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 in the Ashley River Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
