James Stewart Lewis, 49, of Hanahan, SC, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born November 25, 1961, in Charleston, SC, Jimmy was the son of the late James Edwin Lewis and Marian Cadwallader Lewis. He was employed by Robert Bosch Corporation as a Setup Mechanic and was an avid motorcyclist.

 He will be deeply missed by his daughter Tabbatha Mitchell and her husband Omar of Goose Creek, SC; brother, David Lewis and his wife Gail of Summerville, SC; sisters, Diane Ervin and her husband Bill of Charlotte, NC and Louise Geiss and her husband Tim of Cary, NC; grandsons, Jurrien and Andre Mitchell; uncle, Francis Cadwallader of Harrisburg, PA; aunt, Jean Messinger of Hamburg, PA, and his former wife and friend, Jamie Cady of Tampa, FL.

The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Wednesday, May 25, 2011, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held, Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 11:30 a.m., at Patterson Cemetery in Loris, SC, under the direction of Hardwick Funeral Home, 4831 E. Main, Loris, SC 29569.
