James Leo Landry, 64, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Betty Ann Endres-Landry, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 5, 2026.

James was born October 24, 1961 in Pensacola, Florida, son of the late George Leo Landry and Della Mae Robinson Landry. James went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army, serving in Korea, Germany, Bolivia, Saudi Arabia, and all across the United States. James retired as a Sergeant First Class and continued to serve in a number of civilian roles with the federal government until his passing. An avid rock music fan, James attended as many concerts as he could, even with the ringing in his ears, and enjoyed near annual disappointment with his beloved Miami Dolphins.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ryan Landry and wife Lisa; granddaughters, Alice and Sophie; and sister, Christine Landry Adams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven; and sister, Wanda.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans' Charitable Service Trust.
