James "Jim" Allen Rebuck

James "Jim" Allen Rebuck

James "Jim" Allen  Rebuck entered into eternal rest, peacefully, on May 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. 

Above all, Jim loved the Lord, his family and his country.  He earned a Bronze Star for Valor as well as other numerous honors for combat during his service in the Vietnam war as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy.  Jim cherished his beloved wife, Marty; they were wed on April 3, 1971, and enjoyed 53 amazing years together as a couple.  Jim loved spending time with his family, especially holidays and summers at the beach with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a true and faithful servant to the Lord and selfless in his love for all.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Marty, his children Brett Rebuck (Mary) of Oregon, Marla Doebler (Ronnie) of North Charleston, Kelly Orvin (Carley) of Virginia, Chris Rebuck (Melony) of Texas, Patrick Rebuck (Erin) of Texas, Caitlin Mutschler (Abby) of Goose Creek, D'Auri Rebuck of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren; Nick (Kirsten), Mary, Megan, Katie, John, Emily, Everett and Conrad; great granchildren; Reese, Nolan and Halle and sister, Judy Kundert (Pat) of Colorado.   

His Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 in Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive, Hanahan at 10:00 am.  Inurnment will be Private. The family will receive friends  from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, May 9, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. 

Memorials may be made to Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, 7481 Northside Drive, North Charleston, SC 29420.
