James Eliot Jenkins

James Eliot Jenkins, 87, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widower of Marylyn A. Jenkins entered into eternal rest Monday, December 14, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Henry Burke and Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington Street, Wellesley Hills, MA at 11:30 a.m. Interment, Saint Mary's Cemetery, Needham, MA. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Henry Burke and Sons Funeral Home.

James was born December 14, 1928 in Newton, Massachusetts, son of the late James Eliot Jenkins and Sadie Thompson Jenkins. He served in the United States Marines and was a past commander for American Legion Post 440 in Newton, MA. He was a member of St. John's Parish in Massachusetts.

He is survived by his son, Paul Jenkins of Mount Pleasant, SC; friend, Stephen S. Jones of Mount Pleasant, SC; brother-in-law, Stephen Kilmain of Madbury, NH; sister-in-law, Evelyn Locke or Wayland, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
