James Michael "Mike" Ivey, Sr.

James “Mike” Michael Ivey, Sr., 62 years, of Beaumont, Texas passed away May 4, 2023 surrounded by loved ones at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Mike enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his grandchildren, as well as his great-nephews and great-nieces. His most memorable times were spent with friends and family on his boat and living life to the fullest. 

Mike is survived by his four children: Christine Choe (Leo), James Michael Ivey, Ashley Ivey and Taylor Ivey; his sister, Lisa Lawley; brother, Scott (Donna) Ivey ; his grandchildren: Joey Choe, Amelia Choe and Maddie Choe; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. followed by a graveside service in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m.
