James Franklin Hunsucker Jr.

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of Wednesday, March 21, 2012, James Franklin Hunsucker, Jr., of Hanahan, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. James F. Hunsucker, Jr. are invited to attend his funeral service in North Charleston Church of Christ, 8415 Patriot Boulevard, Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church, on Saturday, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mr. Hunsucker was born on October 20, 1924 in Bennettsville, SC, the son of James Franklin Hunsucker, Sr. and Cora Hood Hunsucker. He was a graduate of Bennettsville High School class of 1943. He retired as a Marine Electrician from the Charleston Naval Shipyard after 31 years of service.

He is survived by his sons, Vernon Hunsucker of Alamogordo, NM and Kenneth C. Hunsucker and his wife Brenda of Hanahan, SC; one sister, Christine Cole of Hanahan, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Agnes Heape Hunsucker.
