James Robert Hucks

James Robert Hucks, 79, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Patricia Ann Crane Hucks entered into eternal rest Monday, February 19, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the Coastal Shores Baptist Church, 8310 Dorchester Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

James was born November 1, 1944 in Sevierville, Tennessee, son of the late Mack Robert Hucks and the late Hazel Cole Hucks.  He loved to fish and he loved his church, Coastal Shores Baptist, where he served on the Deacon Board and was there every time the doors where open.    

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Riffle (Gary) of Hanahan, SC, Tammy Sheriff (Darren) of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren, Racheal Riffle and Jessica Riffle (Bren'Dan); sibling, Gwen Robbins (Don) of Pinopolis, SC; sister-in-law, Becky Hucks of Taylor, SC; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Edward Hucks.
