James Edward Hannan

It is with the heaviest heart that I inform you of the passing of the greatest husband anyone could have and my closest friend in all the world, Ned.  He struggled with lung cancer for almost one year winning several battles, but in the end, we lost the war.  Ned was the light of my life and will be in my heart and memories forever.  He touched so many lives with his great sense of humor, love for life, and just a spectacular person to be around.  He was an extraordinary father and wonderful friend to many people.  It will be difficult without him, for this is truly a tremendous loss, but luckily, we are honored to have such wonderful family and friends that will help us preserve his legacy and the amazing memories he made, like he would want us to do.  As everyone who met him knows, it was always a joy to be around him, sharing laughs, trivia, and lots of his particular brand of life lessons, opinions, experiences, and stories.  Last but not least, we’ll remember to laugh at his jokes as hard as he did.
