James Arthur Gray

James Arthur Gray, 74, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Naomi "Candy" Gray died Thursday, January 10, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel until 7:00 pm. Burial services will be held Wednesday January 16, 2013 in Beaufort National Cemetery at 11:00 am. Memorials may be made to Ranger's Lead the Way, P. O. Box 281, Manhasset, NY 11030.

James was born August 5, 1938 in Manhattan, NY, the son of the late Arthur Gray and Ruth Berg Gray. He was retired from the Department of Defense as a Cost Analyst and was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. James was a Past President of the Vietnam Veterans Association, a Civil War Re Enactor and a Past President of the Harley Owner's Group.

James is survived by his spouse, Naomi "Candy" Gray of Goose Creek, SC, sons: Michael Gray, James "Butch" Gray and David Gray, stepchildren: Jennifer Madonna, Marc DiFronzo and Felix Nicolini; grandchildren: Michaela Nicolini, Sophie Evans, Kelsey Gray, Sara Gray, Ryan Gray, Allison Gray and Meghan Gray; great-grandchild, Liana Evans; and his special Service Dog, Ranger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy Shepski.
