FTCM (SS) James Pat Fagan, USN, (Ret.), 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of EdiaJuan Cummings Fagan entered into eternal rest Friday, July 3, 2015. His funeral service will be held with full military honors Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Chapel Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
James was born June 15, 1937 in Denton, Texas, son of the late Cecil Thomas Fagan and Alice Bell Fagan. He lived in Charleston 49 years. He served in the United States Navy for 30 years until his retirement and was a member of Essex Village Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, EdiaJuan Fagan of Charleston, SC; son, Clifford D. Fagan (Karen) of Edmond, OK; daughter, Terri D'Lanea Fagan of Charleston, SC; sister, Betty Jean Watson of Kemp, TX, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Fagan; numerous nieces and nephews.
