James Ralph Cromer

James Ralph Cromer, 87, of North Charleston, SC, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010,   peacefully at home.

Born July 26, 1923 in Anderson, SC he was one of seven children of Anderson Cromer and Daisy Bolt Cromer.  He was a US Army WWII veteran and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard.

Mr. Cromer is survived by his companion and best friend, Alma V. Gann; son, Dwayne Cromer; and Sister, Ruby Morgan.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers: Wade Cromer, Claude Cromer and Robert Cromer; and sisters, Alberta Cromer and Nell Cromer.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 12:00 PM.  Interment with military honors to follow at Riverview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's North Area Chapel Saturday, December 11, 2010 one hour prior to the service.
