James M. "Mac" Croft, 90, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Geneva "Neva" Boltin Croft entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 6, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road at 3:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Mac was born February 23, 1926 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, son of the late Charlie G. Croft and Rebie Hutto Croft. He was a retired Assistant Manager for Shell Oil Company and a Charter Member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva "Neva" Boltin Croft of Summerville, SC; daughter, Sandra Croft Luten of Summerville, SC; sister, Faye Brown of Charleston, SC; daughter-in-law, Mary Croft of Adams Run, SC; two granddaughters, Karen Croft Venesky, Melissa Croft Price, and their mother, Tensie Campbell; one great-grandchild, and one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased in death by a son, Philip Croft, granddaughter, Tara Lynn McAllister, two brothers and two sisters.
