James Ralph Bowermaster

James Ralph Bowermaster, 84, husband of Mary Blythe Bowermaster of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. The relatives and friends of James Bowermaster are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.

James was born on May 15, 1927 in Canton, Ohio, son of the late John Bowermaster and Lovina Rachel Gilbert Bowermaster. He served in the Seabees of the United States Navy and later worked as a long-time pipeline welder.

He is survived by his wife, Mary B. Bowermaster of Mt. Pleasant, SC; children, Gretchen Bowermaster of Canton, OH, Michael Bowermaster and his wife, Barbara of Staunton, Virginia, Jeffrey Bowermaster of Greensboro, NC, Julienne Bowermaster of Gastonia, NC, Frank St. Cyr of Hanahan, SC, Brenda Hamilton of Mt. Pleasant SC, Joanne Altman and her husband, Harry of Fayetteville, NC and Barbara Baker and her husband, Samuel of North Charleston, SC; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
