Mr. James Kevin Beeks, 49, of Johns Island, husband of Kristi Robertson Beeks, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 23, 2012. Mr. Beeks was born on February 14, 1963 in Laurens, SC, a son of James Fred Beeks, Jr. and Patricia Beeks Leopard. He was a graduate of Laurens High School and attended Anderson College. Mr. Beeks was a Senior Account Manager with Carolina Chillers in Charleston. He was previously employed by Trane and MUSC in Charleston. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 26 years, are daughters, Rachel Kristin Beeks and Rebecca Lauren Beeks; mother, Patricia Beeks Leopard (Joe); brother, Alan Keith Beeks (Laura); mother and father-in-law, Kenneth Merrill and Frances Gratzick Robertson; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Merrill Robertson, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Charleston on Monday, November 26 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
