Jake Claudell Pye, Jr., 81, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Elizabeth C. Milligan Pye entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 25, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jake was born August 9, 1934 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Jake C. Pye, Sr., and Caroline Postell Pye. He was a retired Paint and Blast Supervisor with Metal Trades. Jake loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Pye of Ravenel, SC; four sons, David Lee Pye (Annette) of Cottageville, SC, Robert Lee Pye of Jacksonboro, SC, Jake C. Pye, III., of Huger, SC, and Michael Pye (Teresa) of Ravenel, SC; two daughters, Jean Lowe (Howard) of Charleston, SC, Cathy Barrett (Jimmy) of Adams Run, SC; two brothers, Clarence Pye of Hollywood, SC, Lucky Pye of Santee, SC; three sisters, Mandy Wright, Jean Howard, and Ethel Stokes all of Ravenel, SC; twelve grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
