Jacqueline Sue Pfarr Michael, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Donald Stewart Michael passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.

Jacqueline was born March 1, 1931 in Covington, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Sowers Pfarr and Susan Elizabeth O"Neal Pfarr. A Treasurer with Mikron Instrument Company, she was a member of the Exchange Club Auxillary and the Charleston Yacht Club Auxillary. Jacqueline loved to play duplicate bridge and was a Bronze Life Master. She enjoyed sailing on her boat "Suwanee," and during her life, traveled extensively throughout the world. Known for her graciousness, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Stewart Michael of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her children, Susan Grabowski and her husband, Paul of Tallahassee, FL, Diana Cignavitch and her husband, Bernard of Johns Island, SC, Joanne Yetka and her husband, Kenneth of Puerto Muerlas, Mexico, Donald Michael and his wife, Tami of Cheyenne, WY, and John Michael of Franklin Lakes, NJ; her brother, John Pfarr and his wife, Ellen of Ft. Myers, FL; her sister, Diana Sanzone of Lewiston, ME; and thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jacqueline's name to the charity of one's choice.
