Jacqueline Lou Martin

Jacqueline Lou Martin, 81, of Goose Creek, SC, died Friday, November 1, 2013. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. Interment, Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Jackie was born April 10, 1932 in Smithfield, WV, daughter of the late Silven Shook and the late Freda Snodgrass Shook. She worked in civil service as an accountant, for Defense Logistics Agency at Cameron Station, Alexandria, VA. She was very active with Navy Enlisted Scientific Education Program (NESEP).

She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Hardenburger (Duane); Cynthia Denniston (Ken Shatto); grandchildren: Victor Martino (Emily), Maria Senter (Dale), Zachary Denniston (Robin) and Tyler Denniston; great-grandchildren: Melanie R. Mounteer, Christopher L. Denniston, Mackenzie E.M. Denniston, Claire O. Martino and Ryder M. Denniston; sisters: Jo Ann Wilson and Barbara Geary (Joe); brother, Terry Shook (Jenny); many nieces and nephews; "sister" Donna Shook. She was preceded in death by her husband LCDR Charles Benjamin Martin US Navy RET.
