Jacqueline Elizabeth Ingram, 90, of Moncks Corner, SC, widow of Rev. C.G. Ingram entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Jacqueline was born February 13, 1931 in Opelousas, Louisiana, daughter of the late Levy C. Chastain and Lousia Morrow Chastain. She was a full-time Pastor's wife, the epitome of servant-hood through the support of her husband as secretary, teacher, pianist and women's leader. During her 60 years of ministry they served in numerous states. After serving as a missionary in Vietnam from 1959 - 1969, their ministries brought them to South Carolina. Locally, they were Pastors of Grace Alliance Church for 27 years.
In addition to her husband, she loved to read Christian novels, spoil her grandson, play music on her piano or accordian. When playing various games, we all knew she was a strong competitor and enjoyed winning. After her retirement she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Moncks Corner and enjoyed the Senior Ladies Bible Study.
She is survived by son, Daniel "Bert" (Lisa) Ingram of Moncks Corner, SC; grandson, Nathan Ingram. She will be missed by all her family. She was preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Rev. C.G. Ingram. A son, George Ingram and her daughter, Brenda Ingram.
