Jacqueline Iris Gander Holsclaw, 72, of Goose Creek, SC, the wife of Frederick Holsclaw, died Thursday, January 23, 2014. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 26, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Jacqueline was born February 16, 1941 in Reading, England, daughter of the late Johnathon Charles Gander and the late Dorothy Lilian Bower. She was a member of the Anglican Church of England and attended Cathedral of Praise. She was a cat fancier and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick Holsclaw; son, John Mayfield Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Summerville, SC; daughter, Julie Frances Dudley of Hanahan, SC; ten grandchildren: James Christopher and Shelby Allyn Dudley, Sarah Alene Vargo, Matthew Bryce and Jeffrey Ryan Mayfield, Katelyn Vargo Taylor, Valerie, Matthew, Camilla and Charlotte Holsclaw, Tyler Holsclaw and Taylor Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any local animal shelter.
