Jacqueline Strock Delk

Jacqueline Strock Delk, 88, of Mount Pleasant, SC, formerly of Hanahan, entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 4, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family Sunday in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel one hour prior to the service.

Jacqueline was born April 2, 1926 in Camden, SC, daughter of the late Jacob Chester Strock Sr. and the late Bertha Smith Strock. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and wife who also loved her yard work especially the rose garden.

She is survived by her son, Edward C. Delk and his wife Joy of Hanahan, SC; daughter, Tina D. Matthews and her husband David of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Gilbert Strock and his wife Sandra of Elloree, SC; sister, Hilda Jones of Hanahan, SC; four grandchildren, Ryan Delk, Craig Delk, Brittany August, Chelsea Young; two great-grandchildren, Kendall Delk and Cohen Delk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Delk.
