Jacob "Jack" Heidenberg, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Estelle Mindlin Heidenberg, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 23, 2016. His graveside service will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Emanu-El Cemetery "Maryville", Sycamore Avenue, at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
Jack was born August 5, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Louis Heidenberg and Beckie Heidenberg. He was a graduate of Kean College of NJ and retired after a career in the supermarket industry.
He is survived by his five sons: Louis Corey Heidenberg (Carol) of Fair Lawn, NJ, B. Stephen Heidenberg (Nittaya) of Plano, TX, Dr. Howard Brian Heidenberg (Sandy) of Tampa, FL, David B. Heidenberg (Susan) of Johns Island, SC, and Alex Jay Heidenberg (Rosa) of Fayetteville, NC; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
