Jack Eugene Shaw

Jack Eugene Shaw, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Barbara Lipe Shaw, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 25, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church at 11:00 am, and the family will receive friends beginning on hour prior. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Jack was born April 5, 1932 in Peoria, Illinois, son of the late Donald G Shaw and Ella Ditmer Shaw. He was retired from Charleston Sheet Metal Manufacturing as an estimator and a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Jack was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and attended Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church. 

In addition to his wife of 68 years, Jack is survived by his sons, Mark Eugene Shaw (Teresa), Rev. Timothy Greg Shaw (Tina), and Scott Matthew Shaw (Lisa); sisters, Carla Berg and Edith Mae Sauers; grandchildren, Angela Shaw Vaughan, Lauren Shaw McMillan, Laura Shaw, Allison Shaw, Timothy G Shaw Jr., Luke H Shaw, Nicholas Shaw, and Evelyn Shaw; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Shaw McMillan and Piper Lee Vaughan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jack's memory to either St. Mark's United Methodist Church or Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church.
