Jack D. Saulisberry, Sr., 83, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Mary Owens Saulisberry, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 11, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 19, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 4:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service, starting at 3:00 pm.

Jack was born September 20, 1942 in Charleston, son of the late George D Saulisberry and Catherine Dewitt Saulisberry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. But above all, he cherished his family and the time they shared together. Throughout his life, he took great pride in his work as an electrician and was a dedicated member of the Local Union 776. His strong work ethic, skill, and commitment to his trade earned him the respect of his coworkers and the many people whose lives he touched through his profession.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jack D. Saulisberry Jr.(Marie Thigpen); and daughter, Vendy L. Saulisberry (Jacob Bishop). Followed by his sister, Betty S. Easterling; and his several nieces and nephews. Jack is also survived by four grandchildren, Brandon Saulisberry, Savannah Saulisberry-Martin, Hunter Saulisberry(Katie Altine), and Ridge Coxwell(Jaycee Levy). From Jack’s grandchildren, he thoroughly enjoyed his three great-grandchildren, Raelynn Coxwell, Dalton Saulisberry and Hudson Coxwell.
