Jack Arlen Mizzell, 82, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of the late Alma Kirton Mizzell entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 5, 2016. His funeral service will be held at the graveside Wednesday March 9, 2016 in Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Jack was born November 12, 1933 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Larry Mizzell and Hester Moorefield Mizzell. He was a sign maker with Nelson Sign Company until his retirement.He is survived by his four sons, Marty Mizzell (Inez), William Mizzell (Donna), James Martin Mizzell, and Stewart Mizzell all of Johns Island, SC; daughter, Teena Boyer Bradley of Ravenel, SC; two sisters, Virginia "Tillie" Eadie of Warner Robbins, GA, and Nellie Graves of Goose Creek, SC; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Mizzell of Round O, SC; ; twelve grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Roger Mizzell, and brother Oliver "Buddy" Mizzell.
