Jack Purvis Grady Jack Purvis Grady, 81, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 31, 2016. The family will receive friends Monday September 5, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Jack was born December 14, 1934 in Moncks Corner, SC, son of the late Ira Melvin Grady and Minnie Anderson Grady. He was a U.S Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Jack was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1959, life member of The Association of Citadel Men, member of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation and life member of The Charleston Elks Lodge.

He is survived by, Pauline Hayes Louthian, and Hayes Louthian both of Charleston, SC; sister, Pete Johnston of Moncks Corner, SC and many nieces and nephews.
