Jack Michael Field, 83, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, husband of the late Judy Walsh Field, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 10, 2021. His graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Jack was born November 17, 1937 in Evans, Indiana, son of the late Robert and Jean Busch Field. He served in the Navy and was an owner of a successful auto repair business. Jack was well known for his ability to fix almost anything and his willingness to help anyone is the legacy he will leave behind. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with Judy, his wife of over forty years.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Field, David Field and Richard Dolbeck.
Survivors include his daughters Robyn Field McNeill (Keith) of Atkins, Arkansas, Donna Garrett (Tommy) of Freeport, Florida; son, Ryan Dolbeck (Stephanie) of Charleston, SC; daughter-in-law, Debbie Field, of Jacksonville, FL, and multiple loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Jack's honor to Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue at 8112 Palmetto Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438.
