Jack O'dell Dangerfield

Jack O'dell Dangerfield, 93, of Summerville, previously of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, husband of the late JoAnn Cook Dangerfield, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 28, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am.  Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.  

Jack was born October 31, 1930 in Lawton, Oklahoma, son of the late Thomas Edwin Dangerfield and the late Dovey Pauline Devenny Dangerfield.  He is retired from serving in the United States Navy and ran a general maintenance and repair business for over 40 years.  He loved traveling and being with his family.  

He is survived by three daughters, Joyce Ellen Angel of Summerville, SC, Janice Gail Donovan of Texas City, TX, and June Marie Dangerfield of Summerville, SC; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews . In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings.
