Jack Randolph Cale

Jack Randolph Cale, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Delpha Rumph Cale died Friday, November 8, 2013. His funeral service will be held at the graveside, Monday, November 11, 2013 in the Rumph Family Cemetery, Givhans, SC at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 10, 2013, in J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm .

Jack was born June 8, 1930 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Harry D. and Edith Britton Cale . He was a retired insurance salesman having served numerous insurance agencies for over forty years. Jack was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church, had a passion for his motorcycles, the outdoors, and the love for his family.


He is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Cauthen and her husband Pete of Johns Island, SC, Angie Liberman and her husband Robert of Silver Spring, MD; son, Jack Randolph Cale Jr. of Charleston, SC; 4 grandchildren, Lauren L. Messing and her husband Shimmy, Avery Liberman, Michael Cauthen and his wife Audrey, Matthew W. Cauthen and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry D. Cale Jr.
