Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of June 21, 2010, Irvin Schreiber, husband of Jeanette Goer Schreiber. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Schreiber are invited to attend the funeral services of the former at the graveside in Beth Elohim Cemetery, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at three o'clock, where a Masonic Service will be conducted.
Mr. Schreiber was born December 20, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Samuel Schreiber and Clara Rohfield Schreiber. He served with the United States Navy during World War II and Korea. Mr. Schreiber was a member of Beth Elohim Temple, Mariner Lodge #3 A.F.M., Charleston Elks Lodge #242 and Scottish Rite. He retired as supervisor with Goer Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Gayle S. Carrato and her husband Thomas of Vienna, VA and Kim S. Moore of James Island, SC; six grandchildren: Michael Carrato, Angela Carrato, Jason Koronkowski, Casey Koronkowski, Jonathan Moore, Rachel Campbell.
